There is a good hearted warden staying straight in line
Working every day the feedback’s his child’s mood fine
He’s going straight ahead the way his friends are set aside
Cares for them seeing them restless in this moonlight night

He comes to this special one he took to his heart
And remembers the day he promised it to guard
It was a little kitten sitting freezing on the street
With the same expression in its eyes now lying to his feet

Unleash the tiger in the cage. It wants to escape but the good people hide it
The tiger is in rage. It’s freaking out because it can’t escape this grid
The tiger in the cage sleeps all day long and dreams the dream of waking
Up but there is no change, because dreaming of something can’t ever be the same as making

So the warden can’t deny that he has compassion for this cat and anymore
There wasn’t only once the scene he said to himself: “I’ll try to open the door”
You see, there’s a lack of confidence that’s growing the fear of the people’s reaction
But as long as he won’t open up and let the nature flow there won’t be a life’s satisfaction
